Repair and varnish jobs on typical wooden vessel of the North of Spain

Wood and varnish jobs on MORENITA

The rain arrived finally, and we had to come back to do jobs inside the Boatyard. On this picture, you can see MORENITA, a nice typical fishing small vessel of the North of Spain of the type called chipironeras, that was built by Astondoa in 1953.

All visible wood elements were varnished to bare wood and sanded, and several pieces required further jobs to restore. Later we will varnish these pieces with Epifanes varnishes.

W also had to do a repair by the rudder stock to solve a small leak problem she was having.

When we finish with the varnishing jobs, we will have to install several electric and electronic equipment inside.
