Second term: Indonesia Navy sail training ship 360 feet “BIMA SUCI” doing final fitting out after construction last winter at the highly efficient Freire Shipyard of Bouzas.

Bouzas is also home of the Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas where its very kind staff and its strategic commercial location for yacht cruising people make its pontoons an ideal place for provisioning, quick boat repairs or the safest place along the Atlantic coast to winter yachts up to 50 feet.
Inside five minutes walk area, owners and crews can find not only the best chandleries in Galicia like Efectos Navales Betanzos or Fernandez Vila, or specialized shops for rigs, sails, engines, welding, electronics but also for the good life side of cruising, like the excellent restaurant La Carpinteria, or the more popular but extremely good La Gavela, or Tapas bars with such special locals like “El Patouro”. Finally, Bouzas has got a new Market under the old one that includes a supermarket, fresh fish supplies and butcher shop.
